Doctrinal Statements

Sola Scriptura: Scripture is our only infallible source of truth for faith and practice and thus is our highest authority.

Sola Gratia: Justification is by grace alone. The grace of God is sufficient and effectual to change our hearts and make us a new creation in Christ.

Sola Fide: Justification is applied to the individual through faith alone. We grasp the perfect righteousness of Jesus by our firm and genuine trust in his incarnational work of obedience and sacrifice on the cross. Good works are a fruit of our justification and in no way are a cause of it.

Solus Christus: Christ alone is sufficient for our justification. The perfect obedience of Jesus in his earthly life is applied to us, and his perfect sacrifice on the cross pays our death penalty for sin. Christ alone secures our justification we merely receive by faith what he has earned on our behalf.

Sola Dei Gloria: Because our justification is solely a work of God on our behalf we give Him, and Him alone, all the glory. We boast only in the work of Christ.
